Saturday February 13th saw the start of the 58th Yarmouth Championship heats, which is a graded competition for greyhounds with recent A1 form at the track It's a great competition and with £1000 first prize up for grabs, it's always keenly contested and often with several dogs who are highly respected at this level We had 8 entries for the event but the public draw for the first round wasn't kind to us with 3 of our greyhounds drawn together in one heat and 4 of our greyhounds coming out together in another heat! Droopys Scion was the only one of our runners not to race against a kennel mate and she did the business in style landing her heat comfortably in a fastest time of the night 27.85 The semi finals take place on Saturday 20th February.
